Natalie leads the regulatory and banking infrastructure strategy of Payoneer in Japan and is a founding Board Member and Vice Chairperson of the Fintech Association of Japan (FAJ). Payoneer empowers global commerce by connecting businesses, professionals, countries and currencies with its innovative cross-border payments platform. In today’s borderless digital world, Payoneer enables millions of businesses and professionals from more than 200 countries to reach new audiences by facilitating seamless, cross-border payments. She is passionate about growing the fintech ecosystem in Japan and launched a Fintech Meetup in October 2014 with her Insead classmate Hiroki Kudo, which grew and became the Fintech Association of Japan with the support her fellow board members. She was born in Vancouver, Canada and graduated from the University of British Columbia, and then moved to Tokyo and worked in Finance (Citibank, Societe Generale) before obtaining her MBA at INSEAD in France and Singapore. From there, she worked in building new business in Japan at Locondo, Rakuten Bank and Finovation KK.
