In 2018, 600 startups and 200 registered investors pre-booked over 511 meetings that were held during the two days of Slush Tokyo through our Matchmaking with 2,193 requests and 511 walk-ins.
MATCHMAKING TOOLSince there was not a tool good enough for pairing startups and investors, we started building one in Helsinki. Initiated in 2012, Slush Matchmaking tool is an in-house built database where Slush attendees can propose and book meetings at the Slush Meeting Area.
This year, Matchmaking will be bigger than ever. We’re aiming to tenfold the number of meetings at Slush and extending the matchmaking to cover the full Slush Tokyo week.

It’s quite simple, really! Media representatives can meet everyone. Executives, Investors & Startups can see each other. Unfortunately, conference attendees and Students cannot use the platform.
